I created an inspiration card using the following products:

To make this card, I used the following distressed inks to create the rainbow background: Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. Doxies are generally darker in color, but they do come “marbled,” too. I took some liberties with this one and made him white with black spots. I think he looks like he could be a different breed. I like the contrast of the black and white with the rainbow. The kite was colored in rainbow colors using Copics. I die cut a piece of black craft foam to fit perfectly underneath to “pop” the doggie and kite up off  the white oval in the middle. I added black stitching around the oval with a black marker to create a finished look and stamped the word “Celebrate” in black ink. This is a 5″ X 7″ card so the stencil does not cover the entire card front. By adding the white band at the bottom finished with a strip of pattern paper in black and white stripe, it gave me white space for the word to pop off the card.

We hope you can join us for this bright challenge. It’s fun to see what everyone creates!

Thanks for visiting! I hope you see a rainbow for good fortune today!
