It’s Day 3 of the Honey Bee Stamps 5-year Anniversary Release Sneak Peeks! We’ll be sharing new products all week long followed by a two-day blog hop on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, 2020. I’ll be sharing products on the first day of the blog hop, Saturday, April 18. The new sets will be available to purchase on Friday, April 17 at midnight, EST.

I’m sharing a card using some of today’s sneak peek sets below.

Mommy to Bee Stamp and Die sets

Here’s a new set that will be available in this release. It’s called Mommy to Bee and perfect for someone expecting a baby,  baby shower decorations, shower invitations, baby announcements, congrats card and more! The script word, “Baby” is a perfect complement to the set, too!

Buzzword Baby stamp and die sets

To make this card, I used cardstock in pastels to create a faux quilt for the background of this 5″ square card. I threaded and knotted baker’s twine in a pink/white stripe to the corner intersections of the squares, just like the tied quilts my grandma used to make! This is a fun project because you can create cute designs on each square to create pattern fabrics like roses, checks, etc. Perhaps, you mimic special historical fabrics of old outfits for the baby or mommy-to-be! I added stitching and some shading in a light gray on the perimeters of each square to create a little dimension, too.

I die cut the “baby” script word and backed it with white craft foam to make it dimensional. I stamped, colored and die cut the mom and baby bees and added a few rose buds to their bodies for a more feminine feel.  I also added a fabric “brand” tag in the corner that says “BEEyound.” This word if from the FREE BEE set you receive with a qualifying purchase! The banner in the corner is from the stamp set, “Happy BEEday” and die set, also new in this latest 5-year anniversary release.
