My card is 5″ wide X 7″ tall and fits inside an A7 Envelope. I used 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. I used a separate card front panel to hide the marker bleed on the back.

This card is all about having fun in the snow. There’s SNOW MUCH JOY out there in the wild snow season! To start, I stamped, colored and die cut all of the images from the sets, Wild Winter and Snowflakes. I used the following colors:

Greens: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG00

Reds: R89, R29, R17, R14, R83, R81

Cool Grays: 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1

Yellow-Oranges: YR27, YR24, YR21, Y21, Y18

Browns: E57, E44

The snowflakes were stamped in black and adorned with Pearl Pen in Opaque Blue at the bottom. I used the same Pearl Pen to create dots in the sky and ground, too.

To create the background snow scene, I used a stencil called, Snowflake Cluster Stencil and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. I also splattered white paint over it and embossed snowflakes in white over it. There is lots of dimension in this snowfall blizzard! The snow people and snowflakes at the bottom were attached to the scene using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make them stand out. I also added the “snow much” phrase from the Snowflakes set at the top and finished the phrase with the JOY die cut using the CZ Design Chunky Joy Wafer die.  I used vellum and white cardstock to create the multi layered word and attached it to the card front with Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares.

This 5″ X 7″ card is fun and festive and can be used through the entire winter months! If you decide to place an order, please use the links in this post so that the companies know what inspired you. I appreciate it very much. It helps me to continue to bring more ideas to you!
