Holiday Black and Gold Gift Tags

My inspiration project features the following products from Simon Says Stamp:

Peacebird stamp set and coordinating dies Bundle

Rounded Tags Wafer Dies

Ho Ho Holiday Greens dies

Loopy Bow die

For the basics,  I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. I also like to use foam squares to create more dimension on my cards. My white Gelly Roll Pen is my go-to for adding any white highlights. I used black cardstock for all three tags. Here’s the details.

To make these three gift tags for the holidays, I die cut three different tag sizes using the Rounded Tags Wafer Dies. Before attaching or embossing anything to them, I splattered white paint and metallic gold paint over the tags. I set them aside to dry. Next I stamped all three birds from the Peacebird stamp set and coordinating dies Bundle on a natural cardstock using Versamark Watermark ink pad. I embossed the doves using Brutus Monroe Gilded Sparkle embossing powder. This stuff is beautiful! I also stamped the large words and sentiments from the same set in unique ways on each tag.

Each tag got a little Ho Ho Holiday Greens, too! I die cut the greenery, berries and leaves from metallic silver cardstock.

The Loopy Bow die was cut from gold glitter cardstock and then added to the “Blessings” tag. The small “love and joy” tag in the center of the bow was stamped and die cut using the Honey Bee Stamps, Simply Stated stamps and die (Bundle)

I added some flowers and gold shimmery berries using the Ho Ho Holiday Greens dies. I also added some sparkly faceted gem stickers to the tags for extra sparkle and elegance. Lastly, every tag needs a strong so I attached a gold metallic string to each tag, using the precut hole at the top.
