Hi friends. I’m sharing one last card featuring the Porch Christmas digi set by The Greeting Farm. My card is 5″ tall X 7″ wide and fits inside an A7 Envelope. I used 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. I used a separate card front panel to hide the marker bleed on the back.
I set up this snowman scene using Photoshop. Other programs will work, too. Photoshop is just easiest for me. This design is one that really benefits from the awesome features of digi stamps. I created a mirror image of the snowman with just a quick click. I also did not have to mask this multi-layer design. Digis allow me to layer and cover up items behind the foreground images, like the strings of lights behind the snowman and sign. It’s quick and easy and pretty awesome if you like creating scenes.
To color this scene, I used Copics in
- Blue-Greens: BG0000, BG000,
- Red-Violets: RV69, RV09, RV55, RV02,
- Yellow-Oranges: YRO4, YR68, Y38
- Blues: B05, B04, B00
- Earth: E57, E44, E43
- plus, Sakura Classic White Gelly Roll white pen
To complete the card, I used my sewing machine to add a white zigzag stitch around the card front’s perimeter. I also added a black faux stitch around the edge to finish the card.
