My featured 5″ X 7″ card showcases the following items:
NEW! Chic Shoes dies
NEW! Shoes Sentiments Press Plate and coordinating dies
Delicate Frame and Friend die set

This 5″ X 7″ card was so fun to make because this girl loves shoes! I cut a card base and a card front panel from white cardstock. I stenciled the Chic Bows design on the front panel using Distress Oxide Ink in Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick.
I die cut the Delicate Frame from a soft blush pink colored cardstock. I used my blender brush to darken the edges a bit with a soft red ink. Inside the frame, I used an ivory cardstock for a softer look. I attached the frame and frame insert to the bow stenciled front panel. I added sweet pink bows to the frame’s corners and a white flower and red center using dies from the Chic Shoes dies.

For the Chic Shoes, I die cut all the elements from a light red (shoe leather and bow centers), ivory (shoe sole) and the same blush pink (shoe lining and bows) that I used for the frame. I hand drew rosebuds on the shoes’ linings. I used pink and green Copic Markers: R20, R22, R14, YG67 and YG03 along with my white Gelly Roll pen. I assembled the shoes and attached them to the frame using three small foam squares under each heal. I glued down the shoe fronts to the ivory background. With the shoes higher in the back, they appear like pumps with heals.
Lastly, I used the Shoes Sentiments Press Plate and coordinating dies, BetterPress Black Ink and white cardstock to create two sentiments. I attached the two Shoe Sentiments using foam tabs, one at the top and one at the bottom. For the details, I added white highlights to the shoe pompoms, added pearl gem stickers in a light red to the shoes and corner bows.
