Who’s ready for some pastels for Spring? The Inky Paws Challenge #94 is ready for you! It’s a color challenge using a pink, baby blue, mint and white. I have to admit, I’m not a pastel person, but I do like the end result. I used the following Newton’s Nook Designs sets to make this springy card.
Using, the Bokeh Stencil Set, I created the background using all three colors. I stamped the verse in black and fussy cut it out. I added a blue border to the phrase and added dimensional foam between the two layers for dimension. The flowers were colored and hand cut from the Loads of Bloom girl image. I cut around the flowers and used that portion. I made two floral bunches and overlapped them slightly for a backdrop to the phrase focal point. Lastly, I added a number of white iridescent sequins to complete the look. This card is a 5″ X 5″ card.
Inky Paws Challenge begins today, March 25 and runs for two weeks. You have until Friday, April 5 to link a card. Remember, you have to use Newton’s Nook stamps to participate. This is a smaller challenge so you have a great shot at winning! One random winner is chosen from the entries. See you at the challenge. 🙂
Thanks for visiting! I hope your day is filled with Spring joy!

This is fantastic! I love how you used the stencil for the background! And the idea of using JUST the flowers from the larger image is genius! Great ideas!
