I’ve already shared a sneak peek card today, but wanted to share another one I made that is super simple, bright…and well, merry! It’s called Merry and Bright and will be available when the latest Honey Bee Stamps holiday release goes live. I used both the stamp set and Honey Cuts dies for this card. Both will be available on Monday, 10/14 at 12:01 AM ET!
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped and die cut the “merry and bright” image. I also colored the bulbs using Copics, alternating the colors. I die cut craft foam in white and adhered it to the back of the stamped image to make it dimensional. For the background, I cut 1″ strips of colored cardstock in aqua, lime green and red and positioned them so that a bit of the white card base showed through between each strip. This is a great way to get rid of some cardstock scraps, too!
To finish the card, I added some enamel dots from the Over the Rainbow and The Bee’s Knees collections from Honey Bee Stamps. I also colored in the “g” in the word, “bright” using the colors of the background for a little added color! I like how this one turned out. It’s bright, cheery and lots of merry, too!
