I love gnomes and I especially love this gnome. It’s big and cute and perfect for my holiday cards. It’s a die set so you can make the cap, outfit, beard and nose any color you like. For this card, I used the following Simon Says Stamp products, part of its latest “Cheer and Joy” holiday release:

To make this card, I die cut the gnome shapes out of red, white, aqua and pink and added black craft foam behind. I also added a thin layer of white craft foam to the beard and nose to add more dimension. I set it aside while I worked on the card base.

For the card, I cut the card base using black cardstock to measure 7″ tall X 8″ wide and scored 3″ in to make a 5″ X 7″ greeting card. I stamped a phrase from the Holiday Greetings Mix 1 set in black on the right side of a 4-3/4″ X 6-3/4″ piece of white cardstock with and added the piece to the inside card panel. The 3″ wide front panel allows the verse to show through. I also cut a 2-3/4″ X 6-3/4″ piece of white cardstock and stamped snowflakes from the same set in black and adhered it to the front card panel. Some glittery enamel dots were added to the front as well as the gnome feature to complete the card.
