After making over 12 transparency designs using alcohol inks, I created one with very pretty fall tones. It seemed like the perfect one to use for the Newton’s Nook September, 2018 Inky Paws Challenge, titled “Fabulous Fall.” Alcohol inks are amazing to work with because their colors remain so vibrant on Yupo paper or transparent sheets. They are fairly easy to work with because the process is forgiving. You have time to redo by adding more color, removing ink, etc. during the process.
I used Newtons Nook stamps sets, Beautiful Leaves and Thankful Thoughts from Newton’s Nook Designs. Both of these sets are going to be favorites for a long time. I loved working with the leaves so much, I had to buy the matching dies, too. I embossed the word from Thankful Thoughts using Gold embossing powder and accented with the Copic-colored leaves.
I’m visiting your blog today and noticed this card using NND stamps too! It’s so beautiful! I love the vibrant colors!

I love these leaves! I’ve got more in store using this set. Can’t wait to share! Plus, the new thank you set is awesome, too…an awesome staple in my stash!
