I love to participate in the Newton’s Nook Designs (NND) Inky Paws Challenge, but struggled deciding which card I wanted to submit for the #82 challenge. Lucky for me, the challenge allows up to three cards so I linked both up!

I watercolored two similar backgrounds that used the colors of the challenge. These colors scream Halloween, but I really don’t send cards for Halloween. I decided to make one for Halloween and one non-Halloween card. Both use the same basic background, but feature different ideas.

I paired up Beautiful Leaves stamp set and dies with Thankful Thoughts for my first card. The contrast of the black with the bright colors makes it pop. I also used my Copics to “splotch” on some color on the phrase, too.

Which one is your favorite? I think mine is the leaves, but my fam liked the drink one best.
