What has two ears and tu-lips? MY CARD!
Hello, friends. I’m sharing a card today filled with ears and lips…that’s tulips. 🙂 It’s release time for the Simon Says Stamp, Lucky to Know You release. My card today features the following new products, part of the release:
Both products are so springy and fun to use! I couldn’t believe how wonderful these tulip stencils works. There are 4 stencils in the set that create the most beautiful flowers.
To make this card, I started by creating rows of tulips using the stencils. I used Distressed Oxide inks in the following colors:
- Leaves: Twited Citron, Mowed Lawn Lucky Clover
- Pink Tulips – Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick
- Yellow Tulips – Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed
- Violet Tulips – Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet
Each cluster was hand cut out and layered on a slim line card measuring 3.5″ wide X 8.5″ tall. Dimensional tabs were added to some of the tulips to create dimension in the garden.
The bunny Gnome from Spring Gnomes was stamped, colored and cut out and tucked in the tulip field with dimensional foam behind it. Lastly, the “Hoppy Easter” phrase was stamped in the upper right corner. This card is vibrant and cheery and certainly “spring-ready!” Now it’s time to shop!
