Hi there! I’m back with another card featuring Paperie Ink. One little flower inspired this card today. There’s a flower in the Hello Sunshine set that looks like a pinwheel. I thought it would be fun to have the pig from Seasun of Fun holding on to it.

I also wanted to try a color combo that I don’t use very often so I grabbed some lavenders, purples and pinks for this card. The flowers from the Hello Sunshine set were used to create the pattern paper design on the lower half. I stamped the flowers and colored them in with my Copic Sketch Markers. My sweet pig was colored in RV tones to blend well with the purples. I also added a cute little outfit, too. The “pinwheel” was made using two of the flowers from the Hello Sunshine set.

The background, behind the piggy, was created using a new stencil by Simon Says Stamp called, In the Round. I love this stencil. It works great for a lot of different card styles. I stenciled the round design on a purplish blue cardstock using white ink. I also added white dots using my white gel pen and glittery drops using a Pearl Pen Glitter Pen in blue that I had.

Below the floral pattern paper, I cut strips of  coordinating cardstock and floral design and added it to the bottom of this slimline card for added interest. The phrase, “You da best” is from CZ Design at Simon Says Stamp. I die cut the top and shadow piece out of white cardstock. For the top die cut letters, I used my Copics to create the lines of pink for a cool effect. I love how it turned out.

This card measures 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall. It fits inside a business-sized envelope for mailing. Thanks for stopping by today!
