Hi friends! The sun is shining and the temps are higher today in Wisconsin. We ma even get to 70 degrees! Yay! I want to share this sunny card with you that features the following products from Penguin Palace Stamps:
Here’s a list of the products I’m using:

To create the bottom panel of this 5″ X 7″ card, I added Mermaid Lagoon Distressed Ink using an ink blender. I splattered water droplets on the ink and dabbed them up with a paper towel to create the splotchy look. Once the ink and water was dry, I stamped the birthday phrase on top of the ink in black. I tucked a small yellow strip behind the inked panel and set it aside.
The create the top half, I used the Stencils 360°™ Starter Kit with the Magical Fireworks Stencils 360°™. Following the guides on the ring, I added the blue and yellow lines of color using Mermaid Lagoon and Mustard Seed. This stencil set includes two design. I love them both! Next, I stamped the “Happy” phrase on vellum paper using white embossing powder. To attach it to the center, I added a yellow die cut center and attached it to the center of the design with a dimensional foam tab. Next, I attached the vellum phrase to the yellow circle using a vellum adhesive strip so that it is invisible.
The two panels were attached to the A7 card base. Sequins in yellow were added for a little sparkle to complete this look!
