Hello Farm friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with some beary special mugs and kisses in the park. This bear’s coffee cart is serving up delicious mugs and cups of coffee and hot chocolate. I created this scene with some of my favorite characters from the The Greeting Farm. I’m using the following  products:

The die cuts I used for this card can be found here:

Birch Tree Trunks – This Slimline Forest Scene die set by Paperie Ink is fabulous for making slimline cards. For my card today, I used the singular birch tree trunks. The detail on the dies is fabulous.

Snow landscape  – These NEW Slimline Border dies by Honey Bee Stamps (available at SSS / HBS )mare perfect for making 5″ X 7″ cards. The dies are long enough so you don’t have to create two cuts and piece together to make your “ground.”

Coffee Cart  – (measuring 2-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall). I pieced this together using dies by Honey Bee Stamps. The awning (measuring 2-1/2″ wide X 1″ tall) was made from the roof of the Sweet Treats Add-on die set (available at SSS/HBS) and the cart body (2-1/4″ long X 1-1/4″ tall) was made using the Barn Wood Planks dies (available at SSS/HBS) I punched out 1/2″ circles for wheels and the vertical supports were just cut using my paper trimmer.

To create my card, I started with a 5″ X 7″ card front. I blended Ranger Distressed Oxide Inks to create the background. I used Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Black Soot. Once it was dry, I splattered Dr. Martens Bleed Proof white paint all over the front. I set the background aside to dry and die cut three birch tree trunks, the wood coffee cart and the snowy landscape. The die cuts were attached to the blended background.

Next, I stamped, colored and fussy cut the bear from Warm Wishes, Holiday Anya 6 and Coffee Anya. I gave Coffee Anya a sparkly cap and a pink floral winter jacket. Holiday Anya is holding a sweet pink mug with striped chocolate stir sticks, while wearing warm fuzzy boots and a shiny barrette made of red and pink rhinestones. Both girls and the bear were placed in the scene. Coffee Anya was attached using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make her stand out in the forefront.

I tucked the cute little bear from Warm Wishes behind the cart’s counter. I added the signature Mugs & Kisses gray and green coffee cup in Bear’s hand to match Anya’s cup. This smaller cup is from the hand of the boy from the same set. I used the phrase from the Holiday Anya set to create the coffee cart’s company logo sign. I hand wrote the “open” sign. I added strings of lights to the cart using Glass Effects Gel in a fuchsia and green. Shading was added around the images and on the snow to ground them in the scene.
