Hello friends! Today, I want to introduce you to The Rabbit Hole Designs (TRHD), Hip Hop Squad. They are the hardest working bunnies you’ll ever meet. That take great pride in their workmanship. Each egg is specially handled and colored to perfection! My card today uses both the new Hip Hop Squad stamp and coordinating die set.
To make this slimline card, measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall, I started with Canson XL Bristol Smooth watercolor paper and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) to create the wash of colors on the background. I also did a zigzag stitch around the edge of the card front panel (with out thread) to create the whimsical design.
I used the Modern Embossed Panels slimline die set by Trinity Stamps to cut out the squares from the card front. I sewed in the pattern paper inserts into the squares using the new Spring Florals pattern paper pack by TRHD.
Each bunny was colored using Copic Sketch Markers. I dressed each one up by adding a few thin lines of black to create the outfits. I added splotches and some stitching on the bow to the eggs to dress them up. Each one was attached using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make them stand out a bit from the background.
Once the card front was complete, I attached it to a slimline card base made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I stamped a bunny and a phrase from the set inside to finish the card.
