Hello friends! Today is a special day because it is the Autumn Impressions release day at Trinity Stamps. We are celebrating by having a hop on Instagram to showcase the new items. (Details on the hop below with a chance to win prizes, too!) I’m sharing this (no-coloring required) card that features the following new products:
Autumn Impressions stamp set and coordinating die set
Maple Leaf Windows Slimline die
I’m also using Topaz Twinkle Rhinestones for a little sparkle, too!
To make this slimline card measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall, I die cut the peek through die cut front panel using the Maple Leaf Windows Slimline die from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I splattered on colorful paint in raspberry, chocolate, gold, and browns using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) paint. Once the paint was dry, I attached it to a gray splattered cardstock of the same size.
I die cut four more front panels in raspberry, dark maroon, maroon and gold and removed the maple leaf cuts from the panels. I inserted the three dark maroon panels back in the white die cut and attached three of the colored maple leaves on top, but offset slightly to each opening. I curled the leaves’ edges slightly.
Using shades of Forest Moss, Rusty Hinge, Fossilized Amber and Peeled Paint Distressed Oxide Inks, I stamped the beautiful foliage from the Autumn Impressions stamp set and die cut them out using the coordinating die set. I attached one greenery die cut on top of each die cut maple leaf (using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares) and used natural hemp twine to add small bows to each bundle. Topaz Twinkle Rhinestones were glued on the top for a little autumn sparkle, too.
I cut a card base measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 7″ tall and scored down the center. I stamped “Happy Thanksgiving” on the inside panel and stamped the foliage from the Autumn Impressions stamp set on the inside. I added black specks around the stamped greenery and phrase to finish the card. This card screams warmth and fall all in one!
