Hello friends! It’s a fun Sunday today because I’m participating in a hop on Instagram with the talented designers from Pink and Main as well as a few guest designers (like me), too! We are sharing holiday card ideas and I have two projects I’m sharing. I’m using the following Pink and Main products:
Holiday Wreaths stamp set and coordinating die set.
It’s time to get festive and hop along with us on Instagram! We are giving our crafty followers a chance to win ONE of FOUR $25 store credits. Head to my Instagram account here to get hopping and to read all the details on how to win, too! You can also start on Pink and Main’s IG page, too.
Little Village Holiday Card
My card measures 5″ X 7″ and is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock and a warm gray cardstock. To make the card, I die cut the houses, trees, snowmen, Santa sleigh with deer and the “happy holidays” phrase. I added fun colors to the buildings and splattered the trees with bright watercolors. The warm gray and white backgrounds were splattered with watercolors in iridescent white and gold as well as white paint. I hand cut the rolling hills from the cardstock, adhered them together and tucked the trees and buildings in the layers. Santa and the phrase were attached using dimensional foam tabs to make them standout a bit. I also added a gray shadow to the phrase for more emphasis on it.
Wreath With Deer Holiday Tag
Using the largest tag from the Hero Arts Nesting Tag die set, I die cut a white tag and splattered the top half with metallic gold and iridescent watercolor. I stamped the wreath and colored the leaves using YG67, YG63, YG03 and YG00. I used a rainbow of colors to color in the berries for a bright and festive look! I attached the wreath to the tag using dimensional foam tabs. I die cut the deer from the Holiday Scene Dies and colored it in a warmer gray to stand out from the background. I tucked it behind the wreath and attached it using foam tabs. A bright green gingham ribbon was added to the top to complete this festive tag!
