It’s time to HOP on the  “And Back Again” Instagram Hop sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.  The latest release is a continuation from the last release called, “To the moon.” Hop with us today for loads of inspiration and chances to win prizes! There’s a chance to win a prize at each stop on the hop simply by leaving a comment on the Instagram post.

I’m using the following products from the release:

Love You stamp set and coordinating die set (Bundle) (seen here)

Layering Heart Mandala set stencil (seen here)

Here’s two more great sets to consider, too: Piece of My Heart wafer die

and the Exotic Vines Embossing Folder

For my three cards, I’m using Hero Arts Intense Black ink and 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock on these three cards.

Sending Love A7 Card

For this card, I’m using the Love You stamp set and coordinating die set (Bundle) paired with the Repeating Rainbows Background stamp. For the background spotlight, I used one of the layers from the Layering Heart Mandala set stencil.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock, I die cut a card base and card front panel. I ink-blended Ranger Distress Oxide in in Tumbled Glass on the top half of the front, using one of the stencil layers from the Layering Heart Mandala set stencil. On at 3-1/2″ tall X 5″ wide white cardstock piece, I used a marker to dabble black dots on the bottom half of my card front, leaving only white at the bottom. I used a Copic Sketch 100 black marker to create the random pattern. I stamped the “Sending Love” script at the bottom and attached the piece to my card front.

I also stamped the Repeating Rainbows Background stamp on white cardstock, colored two rows and cut it it down to fit on my card front, fussy cutting the rainbow arches at the top. I used Copic Markers in R14, R22, R00, YR68, YR14, BG01, B00, YG25, YG03 and YG01 for the rainbow colors.

Lastly, I stamped and die cut my cute animal with balloon image from the Love You stamp set. I colored him using shades of cool grays and Copic 100 and attached him to the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares. The same colors used on the repeating rainbows were used on the rainbow balloon, too. Three small hearts were die cut and added to the front to finish the look.

Happy Love Day A7 Card

For this 5″ X 7″ card, I used the Layering Heart Mandala set stencil to create the background on 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I used Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink to create the design. I further enhanced it with my Sakura Classic White Gelly Roll white pen and a fine-tip gray marker.

I stamped the cute cat from the Love You stamp set and coordinating die set (Bundle) and colored him in using RV95, RV93, RV91, Rv02, RV00, R20, R21, E44, E43, E42.

I attached the animal using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares and stamped a heart next to him. Lastly, I stamped “Happy Love Day” in the lower corner and added shading under the animal and heart to ground them.

Happy Valentine’s Day A7 Card

There are so many cute messages in the Love You stamp set that I decided to use them! I repeatedly stamped the animal / heart image across by 7″ wide X 5″ tall card. I colored the hearts and cats in various colors and then stamped messages inside the hearts.

Small red hearts and the “Happy Valentine’s Day” message were added to finalize this cute valentine.  This one is a quickie card!
