Hi Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here sharing an A7-sized card that not only offers a thoughtful message, but includes an organic touch, too. I pulled out a few of my dried flowers to add a soft touch to this card. I love the soft color palette and the textural nature of the dried elements really makes a statement. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Thinking of You Big Time stamp set and coordinating die set
Layered Lace Layering Stencils
Bee Creative Wax Melts – Tuxedo
Bee Creative Wax Stamper – Rose
Bee Creative Wax Melting Spoon
The featured card is made of Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base.
To make this card, I used a soft gray cardstock for the front feature panel. I die cut the smaller lacy die plate from white cardstock and stenciled the center roses in lavender and pink using the Layered Lace Layering Stencils. I tore the edges for a more organic shape. A soft blue background was added behind the lace layer. I attached the lace rectangle with backing to the gray cardstock and splattered metallic gold watercolor paint over the layers.
Next, I wound hemp string around the gray layered panel three times and tied a bow in the front. I die cut the Love Enclosed dies notecard and envelope from white cardstock splattered with lavender, pink and gold watercolor. The notecard envelope duo were assembled, glued and attached under the twine. I attached dried babies breath, and straw flowers behind and in front of the notecard and envelope.
Using the Thinking of You Big Time stamp set and coordinating die set, I heat embossed the scripted words in gold on pink cardstock and die cut them out. I attached them to the front. I used Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white cut down to attach the words to make them stand out a bit. Lastly, I attached the gray cardstock to the card base front with a rose seal at the top using the Bee Creative Wax Melts – Tuxedo, Bee Creative Wax Stamper – Rose, the Bee Creative Wax Melting Spoon and a candle.
For the envelope, I splattered on gold metallic paint and added a similar rose seal using the wax seal products. Before applying the wax, I added a few sprigs of dried flowers to make it extra special and beautifully organic.
