Hello friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here and I’m sharing these awesome die cut florals today. Honey Bee Stamps is known for its amazing, “Lovely Layers” dimensional flowers and this new set called Wildflowers is no exception. You get three florals in this die cut set. For my card, I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
Lovely Layers: Wildflowers Honey Cuts
Thinking of You Big Time Honey Cuts
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and the card front panel is Canson XL Watercolor paper. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I applied a light wash of yellows and reds on the watercolor card front panel. Once the wash was dry, I splattered it with a little black watercolor for some contrast and an imperfect background.
The wildflowers were cut from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock and assembled using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue. To make the flowers dimensional, I also used Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to attach some of the layers. I used the following Copic Marker colors to color them: R89, R46, R24, R32, R22, R17, R08, G29, YG67, YG63, YG17, YG03, YR00, YR01, YR24, YR31, and YR65.
I stamped and die cut the big hugs phrase and added it on the left. I also attached pretty, sparkly Hugs and Kisses Gem Stickers to the front. I thought the bouquet needed a little filler so I add these cute heart springs die cut from white using the Rainbow Accents die set. The entire finished panel was attached to the card base using double sided tape. I like tape for attaching watercolor paper to my base. It holds it flat and perfect every time!
Inside, I stamped two phrases from the Praying Big Time stamp set to complete it. This card is ready to send a big hug with flowers and prayers, too!
