Hi Honey Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with another fall-themed card using some of the new autumn sets from the Spooktacular release. For this card, I combined something old, something new, and something blue, too. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:
On the Line: Fall Florals stamp set and coordinating die set
Fright Night Circlescape Honey Cuts dies
Bicycle Builder Honey Cuts dies
Spooktacular Paper Pad and/or Summer Stems paper pad
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size. Details are below. You can also check out my Instagram Reel for this card here.
I’m using pattern woodgrain paper from the Grain and Grunge Paper Pad for the background of this 5″ X 7″ card. I cut a 5″ wide X 1″ tall strip of green pattern cardstock for the “ground cover” using paper from the Summer Stems paper pad. For an alternative look, check out the green papers from the new Spooktacular Paper Pad. They would make wonderful fall ground cover, too! Next, I die cut the bicycle parts from black, aqua, gray and tan cardstock and glued them together to create the bike. I die cut the Fright Night Circlescape Honey Cuts dies picket fence from black cardstock, cut it in half and attached to both sides of the card front, right above the ground cover strip. I positioned the bicycle tire between the black fencing.
Using the On the Line: Fall Florals stamp set and coordinating die set, I stamped the two sentiments, “Grateful,” “for your friendship,” and both floral line images. I colored the florals using the following Copic Sketch Markers:
- Greenery: YG97, YG65, YG63, YG17, YG03
- Florals: YR27, YR24, YR21, R29, R14, R22
- Leaves and branches: E49, E47, E44, E43, R89, R29, R22
I attached one floral piece to the base of the bicycle.
I cut the other one into smaller floral elements and filled the bicycle basket with the pieces. I wanted the florals to spill out, in front of the basket so I added the tree branches from the Fright Night Circlescape Honey Cuts dies in black (this also repeats the black color of the tire and fence). I added Autumn Pearls Gem Stickers in rose and maroon to the tree branches for berries (to match the other berries in the basket) and some green pearls around the sentiment to accent. Finally, I used my white gel pen to add highlights to the bike, basket and florals.
