Now for some inspiration. My featured card uses the new Summer Bouquet Stencil, the Plant Sentiments stamp set and the Perfect Day Sequins. All of these items are available now in the store. I also made the teal and white frame using the cutout scrap of the Mid Century Ethereal Plate Wafer Die as a stencil on white cardstock and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched frame die.

My card below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.

This beautiful stencil is a stunning backdrop and/or focal point on my card. I used the stencil to add dark green leaves as a backdrop then stenciled the entire bouquet in late summer colors (oranges, golds, teals and greens) for the focal point. After I stenciled the bouquet, I hand cut it out and attached it with foam tabs to make it stand out from the foliage background. My card is 5″ X 7″ so you can see just how big this bouquet really is! You can use just a part of it (like my background) or the entire bouquet like the foreground for versatility.

I used the following Distress Oxide Inks and my Simon Says Stamp blending tools: Rustic Wilderness (background leaves), Twisted Citron, Mowed LawnBroken China, Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, and Carved Pumpkin.

I blended Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, and Carved Pumpkin on white cardstock and stamped and embossed in white a sentiment from the Plant Sentiments stamp set. I cut it to fit the frame and attached it to the card front. Lastly, I added some pretty Perfect Day Sequins around the sentiment frame and flowers to complete the look.
