Hey, friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a couple of fun congratulatory cards using a new product from the All the Feels release by Simon Says Stamp. I will be using these this year for graduation cards. I have two seniors graduating from high school and lots of graduation parties are in our future! I’m using the following products from Simon Says Stamp including this new fun background stamp:
Slimline Congrats Card
This slimline card measures 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall. To make this card, I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed the halftone design in white using Wow! Bright White Opaque Embossing Powder and gold using Ranger Gold Embossing Powder on 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock cardstock and a brushed gold cardstock.
After I stamped the designs, I stacked them and cut them in fours to make this streamlined design. I attached them to a grey card front panel so the grey shows through between the four rectangles.
For the congrats, I die cut the shadow die from a dark grey charcoal cardstock and the word from metallic gold to match the background. I attached the design to the front using dimensional tabs to make it stand out a bit.
A7 Congratulatory Card
This 5″ X 7″ card applies the same concepts I used in the slimline card. In this case, the designs were split in half and seamed together on the card front.
The congrats design uses black cardstock for the shadow and white for the letters.
There’s dimension in this card, too! I think these are quite stunning and can be used for males, females and any age, too!
