Let’s get to some inspiration. For my projects, I’m using the following products:

Cocoa and Joy stamps and coordinating dies

Cozy Cocoa Stencil

Fanciful Flurries Embossing Folder

Pointy Pine Needle Sprigs dies

I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for my tags, card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.

Cozy Wishes Tag

This circular tag includes one sweet bunny, a marshmallow-loving mouse and one big cup of hot cocoa with whip cream! I used a nested circle die for the base of this tag and ran the circle through my die cutting machine with the Fanciful Flurries Embossing Folder. I hand cut a strip of snow for the bottom and ran that through my machine with the same circle die and attached it at the bottom. I stamped, die cut and colored the bunny and mouse using the Cocoa and Joy stamps and coordinating dies.

Next, I stenciled the pink cocoa cup, cocoa, cup handle and whip cream using Ranger Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberry, Vintage Photo and Antique Linen and stenciled on the snowflake design using Ranger Snowfall Grit Paste and glitter. After the paste was dry, I hand cut the cup and attached it to the tag. I tucked a few evergreen sprigs in the background in green and pink. I created the foreground marshmallows using the Ranger Snowfall Grit Paste and the marshmallow stencil from the Cozy Cocoa Stencil stencil. I stamped the “cozy wishes” sentiment in black, die cut it and attached it at the top with foam tabs to finish the tag.

Merry Christmas Tag

For my second tag, I followed many of the same steps, but changed out the animal, cup and sentiment. Notice the large rep cup of cocoa with a stenciled green tree on the front matches the cup in the hands of the fox. To do this, I mixed green ink from my Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink pad with Snowfall Grit Paste to make a green tree.

I also splattered white paint onto the tag using a watercolor fan brush and white paint.
