Hello Alex Syberia Designs friends! It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a sweet little springtime card featuring the beautiful (and one of my favorites), Fantasy Flowers. I just love how cute these buds are in all colors! I used a combination of blues and teals for today’s card. I’m also using the following Alex Syberia products available at Simon Says Stamp:

Fantasy Flowers die set

Garden Tweets die set

Trendy Pattern Cover die

Classic Foliage die set

Expressing Gratitude stamp set and coordinating die set

Holiday Wreath and Branch stencil and coordinating dies set

Below are the details of this springtime card.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card,  I started with a card base cut from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I added a full die cut to the front of the base made from a warm gray cardstock and the pretty Trendy Pattern Cover die. I attached it to the base using craft glue. Next, I cut and assembled my Fantasy flowers. I used various shades of blues for the petals and black and yellow for the centers. I glued the flowers in place and then arranged my foliage around them to create a diagonal spray.

The smaller leaves are from the Classic Foliage die set and the larger leaves are from Garden Tweets die set. To color the larger leaves, I used Copic Sketch Markers in YG67, YG17, YG23 and for the smaller leaves, BG10 and G00. I wanted the smaller leaves to have an aqua tone versus blue or green.

To finish this fresh card, I added a bow from the Holiday Wreath and Branch set stenciled in Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire. I added a few confetti pieces in Malibu Blue to accent the flowers. Lastly, I embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock and die cut it using the Expressing Gratitude stamp set and coordinating die set. I attached the phrase below the cover die cut.
