Welcome friends! It’s time for a new release by Simon Says Stamp. It’s called “Cheering For You” and offers many products to cheer your bestie, family member or co-worker up. Here’s a few cards I made using products from this release:
Arching Leaf Border Wafer Dies
Simple Sending Love Wafer Dies
My cards below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope unless noted. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.
Sunflower Old Letter Card
For this A7 card, I ink blended rusty hinge, Fossilized Amber, and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink and splattered water on the ink to lift it. I stamped the Old Letter stamp set in black over the ink. Next, I stenciled the Sunflower Pattern Stencil on a separate piece of white cardstock and hand cut them out. I attached them to the front, added a few green leaves using the Arching Leaf Border Wafer Dies and finally, stamped and attached the sentiment from the Bad Day Good Vibes stamp and dies combo.
Just Write Acetate Card
This A2-sized card features the new A2 Clear Acetate Cards. I attached a card inside that showcases the Sunflower Pattern Stencil. On the outside, attached to the clear acetate card, I stamped, color and attached a pencil from the Just Write stamp and die set. I also added a separate sunflower to the cute pencil.
Just Write Card and Bookmark
Using the Just Write stamp and die set, I made an A7 card and bookmark. The bookmark pencil is extra long and a fun way to keep your spot in your favorite novel! Here’s the Copic Sketch Marker colors I used:
- Card: W6, W4, W1, E04, R22, R00, E55, E51, 100, C4, C2, C1
- Bookmark: Y38, Y19, Y08, E04, R22, R00, E55, E51, 100, C4, C3, C1
Sending Love Card
I used two dies – Arching Leaf Border Wafer Dies and Simple Sending Love Wafer Dies – for this card. For the background, I ink blended blues on the background and stamped the Old Letter stamp set in blue over the ink background. Gem sticker pearls in shades of blue finish this look.
