My card features the new CZ Design Stamps and Dies Peaceful Trees. My card below measure 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together.  My white Gelly Roll Pen is my go-to for adding any white highlights. Here’s the details.

Here’s a really quick holiday card for the upcoming season! I used two colors of Distress Oxide inks to color the tree stamp – Speckled Egg and Iced Spruce. I added both colors, not worrying if the stamping was blotchy or not. That’s part of the coolness! I filled in any areas that did not stamp perfectly with Copic BG11. I used my MISTI tool to stamp them. I also used Copic W3 to add additional trees behind the stamped images for more of a forest feel.

I also used my BG72 Copic Sketch marker to add snow in the sky and white paint to flicker on more white snow.

For the sky, I added more Speckled Egg and Tumbled Glass ink using my blender brushes. I also stamped the verse from the set below the stamped trees. I added a small strip of pattern paper at the bottom, but this is very optional. It looks great without it, too! I used a Honey Bee pattern paper from the Sweet and Spooky Paper Pad which is also available at Simon Says Stamp. Lastly, I added some sparkle in the air with gem stickers in greens and  blues. If you are mailing these cards, I would leave the stickers off to avoid extra postage and handling.
