A new release is here at Simon Says Stamp! This release is a continuation from the prior release in December called, “To Love.” The new release, “To Be Loved” is filled with hearts, hugs and happiness! My cards feature the following new sets:
Sweet Treats stamps and dies (Bundle)
Always and Forever stamps and dies and second set of dies (Bundle)
My cards below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. I also like to use foam squares to create more dimension on my cards. My white Gelly Roll Pen is my go-to for adding any white highlights. Here’s the details.
Love You More Heart Card
Using the yummy treats from the Sweet Treats stamps and dies (Bundle), I stamped, colored using Copics and die cut the treats. I used R32, R22, R14, R17, R27, and R29 to color the reds. For the browns, I used E53, E55, E57, E59, E74, and E77. My white Gelly Roll Pen allowed me to add white highlights and frosting elements. I popped a few up using foam tabs.
For the card front’s background, I used the coordinating stencils to add small hearts. I also used a red fine-tipped pen to add tiny red dots.
Using the Love You More dies, I added the “Love You More” to the card front using foam squares to make it pop out a bit and allow it to go over the treats a bit.
Forever and Always Wedding Card
For this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped, die cut and colored the elements on the front. I used Copic colors: RV09, RV55, RV02, V09, V04, V01, BG49, BG11, BG 10, YG17, and YG03. I used Forever and Always stamps and dies and second set of dies (Bundle).
For the flowers, I used gem stickers to the centers of each of the flowers in the individual swags. This set has two sets of dies to coordinate with the stamp set.
Love You A Choco-lot Valentine
For this Valentine card, I used Sweet Treats stamps and dies (Bundle) to stamp, die cut and color the treats. I wanted this card to be perfect for Valentine’s Day. I used reds and grays with a bit of aqua blue for the cellophane bag. The bottom two strips of gray and white pattern paper are by Honey Bee Stamps and the top half background was created using one of the sparkle images and black ink. The set includes several sizes. I added a 1/8″ black cardstock strip between the two paper pads.
I added a very light aqua blue (BG10 and BG11) to the cellophane bag. I used red hearts to the cellophane using an R27 Copic Sketch Marker. I added two sentiments to the line (one above and one below) from the stamp set.
