Now for my card. I’m using the following products for my featured card.

Printmaking Clovers Set

Groovy Daisies Stencil Collection

My card below measure 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card front and card base. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. I also like to use foam squares to create more dimension on my cards. My white Gelly Roll Pen is my go-to for adding any white highlights. Here’s the details.

When I think of St. Patrick’s Day, I think of shamrocks and rainbows. For this card, I infused the two to make one happy St. Paddy’s day card for a friend of mine. This 5″ X 7″ card begins with a a white card base made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I splattered green paint over the front of the card base and set it aside to dry.

Next I stamped the shamrocks using the Printmaking Clovers Set. Using the three stamps, I made the multi-color clovers and die cut them individually using the coordinating dies. I added a green gem sticker in the middle of each one. I also added a few white markings on each leaf for an artistic effect.

To create the “rainbow” I used the Groovy Daisies Stencil Collection to color the rainbow using Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, and Salty Ocean. I stenciled the groovy daisies on a 4″ X 5-1/8″ piece of white cardstock. I rounded the corners on the piece using a corner rounder. I also added a faux dark green stitch around the edge using a fine-tip dark green marker.

I stamped the sentiments from the Printmaking Clovers Set in the center of the florals. I attached the stenciled piece to the card base. I stamped the third sentiment under the stenciled rectangle. Finally, I added the shamrocks over the florals using foam tabs to make them stand out.

Another Card Idea

Here’s another card I made using the same groovy flowers, but this time using the Groovy Daisies stamp set. The sentiment is from the Inspiration Quotes stamp set.
