Floral Heart A7 Card
This bold valentine or birthday card measures 5″ X 7″ in size. The card base and the Mod A2 Coverplate die cut is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock. I layered the A2-sized die cut on the card base and adhered it together using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue.
I stamped the big floral heart image on white cardstock and die cut it. I colored the floral design using the following Copic Marker colors:
- Flowers including centers: R89, R39, R29, R22, R17, R14, R05, C8, C6, C4, C1 and a Gelly Roll white gel pen
- Leaves: YG67, YG63, YG61, YG03
I added silver (clear) rhinestones to the flower centers to make them sparkle. It’s really pretty in person!
Lastly, I heat embossed and die cut the phrase using the Hello Sweetheart stamp set and coordinating die set and attached it to the center of the heart using 1/4″ black foam tabs. Chocolate Covered Strawberries sequin mix and Ruby Slippers Confetti Mix were used to add sparkle in the upper left and lower righthand corner of the card, too.
Sweet Note Gift Card Holder
The Sweet Notes Card and Envelope die set is the perfect pair for a gift card holder. A card fits inside the card and envelope for a sweet way to give a gift card. I used the Lace A2 Coverplate die’s coordinating die on the front, creating a white-on-white layered look like the card. Next, using the You Buzzword stamp set and coordinating die set, I layered the YOU letters and added a heat embossed phrase, “Happy birthday to” on the top. Note: I stamped the Hello Sweetheart heart design used in card 1 on white and cut out the letters from that black/white pattern to match the card.
Lastly, before folding the envelope in position, I stamped a phrase, “you are loved” from the set, Sealed With Love using the Bee Creative Embossing and Watermark pad and embossed it in white using White Opaque Embossing Powder
