My cards below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.
Make it Epic Card
My first card is a quick and easy one featuring the new Cue the Confetti stamps and dies. I stamped the balloons in black on white, added confetti and two sentiments from the same set to create the background. For the large balloon, I gave it a few soft colored stripes using Copics in Y00, YG00, RV00, B00 and V12. I add more dots using the same color to the background for a unified look. I attached the large balloon using foam dots to make it stand out from the background. This card took less than 30 minutes to make and it really is a fun one!
All About You Card
Here’s another card I made using the same balloon set and the
In bold oranges and reds, I used the Lined Arches Stencil to make this fun bold background to complement the large balloon and sentiments in the foreground. Confetti is from the Cue the Confetti stamp set. I splashed on some white paint using Dr. PH Martens white ink for a fun effect.
Hibiscus Caring Card
For this card, I used the embossing folder to do all the work on my card front. Since my card is 5″ X 7″, I added a watercolor background I painted in duller tones to enhance the beauty of the hibiscus design. I colored the flowers using Distress Oxide inks to make them stand out. For the leaves I used Copic BG90 to color in a soft blue-green-gray tone.

Nicely done. Like the Epic card especially.
As I was looking at your first card I totally have to agree with the sentiment you chose, we should all make birthdays EPIC. No recipient of your second card would ever doubt that the card they received wasn’t all about them, what a bright and fun card. I am totally smitten with your Hibiscus card, that card would let anyone be certain you were thinking about them. GREAT cards !!
