Homestead Harvest Paper Pad

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue to glue my elements together. When I want more dimension, I used Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab.  My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To create this 5″  X 7″ card, I adhered a pattern paper from the Homestead Harvest Paper Pad to the front panel. Next, I attached a piece of watercolor paper washed in an ombre of teals and matted in a metallic gold cardstock to the pattern background. Using the Give Thanks stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies, I attached the “with a grateful heart” sentiment stamped in black on white cardstock, right below the focal square.

For the featured design, I die cut various mushrooms, hay pieces, wild flowers, and the wagon wheel. The flowers were die cut from green cardstock for the stems and leaves and white cardstock for the flowers. I colored the flowers using YR15, YR21, and YR20 and added white dots using my white Gelly Roll pen. The wagon wheel was colored using 100, C7, E57, E55, and E47.

For the mushrooms, I used browns and beiges and a little soft pink, too. I used Copic Markers E43, E44, E51, E53, and R00. the mushrooms were assembled and tucked in front of the wheel. Grassy elements were adhered to the front, providing a ground for these beauties to shine. The wagon wheel created a background for the wildflowers.
