It’s time for a new Spring release by Simon Says Stamp. Today, I’m sharing a few new ideas using the following new products from the Splendor release, now available to purchase:
Lots of Luck stamp set and coordinating dies
Pot O’ Gold stamp set and coordinating dies
My cards below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.
Beautiful Dove Sympathy Card
The dove is a sign of peace, freedom and/or love. For this sympathy card, it is a sign of peace and love. I used the Topography Background Stamp , embossed in gold for the background of this magnificent bird. In addition to using the Beautiful Dove dies. I used the Budding Branches dies to cut the gold metallic sprigs for the dove to rest on. The sentiment is was created using the CZ Design With Sympathy Dies, I added pearls to the berries.
Hippity Hoppity Stenciled Card
This 5″X7″ card begins with a quick stenciled background using the Hippity Hoppity stencil and a rainbow of Distress Oxide Ink colors. I added a scalloped band of color using the same inks. Lastly, I added this sweet bunny from the CZ Design Wild Love stamp set.
Pot O’ Gold Luck Card
This card is filled with lots of luck including a pot of gold, lots of gold coins and lucky clovers, too! I used the Pot O’ Gold stamp set and coordinating dies with the Lots of Luck stamp set and coordinating dies. Tall grasses. lady bugs and two-toned clovers make this card a fun one to make! Remember, St. Paddy’s Day is right around the corner!
Lots Of Luck Gift Bag
This sweet little gift bag is so quick to make and so cute to give with the Gift Bag dies! I used the Topography Background Stamp. for the black and white modern twist background and the flowers, lady bug and leaves from the Lots of Luck stamp set and coordinating dies. I added a few white leafy sprigs to the flowers using the Budding Branches dies. A few pearls and a gingham bow finish the look.
