I’m participating in the Newton’s Nook Designs #83 Inky Paws Challenge this week. I decided to play with some of my winter sets, Frozen Fellowship and Winter Woofs. Both sets are adorable for the winter time.
I like to use non-traditional holiday colors for cards like this one. I focused on the pinks, blues, greens and violets. I used Ranger Distressed inks in Picked Raspberry Broken China, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot for the night sky in the background. Dr. Marten’s white paint and a Signo Uni-ball white gel pen were used for the falling snow. The snowmen were colored using Copic Sketch markers. Copics in V15, V000, B000 and C1 were used to create darker night shadows on the left of the frozen clan. I wanted it to appear that their were darker shadows from the night sky, allowing a light source on the right to shine on their faces. The same colors were used for the husky dog, too. The sketch includes a bow towards the bottom so I opted to add some glitter ribbon to the very bottom to act as snow and fulfill the challenge requirement, too!
OH what a wonderful Wonder Land! Love how you combined stamp sets and colored the images! Just magically! Thanks for sharing this gem with us at Inky Paws Challenge!

Debbie
