Hi friends! I’ve got a new card on the Honey Bee Stamps blog today that celebrates the splendor of the fall season. As I’m working, I see lots of leaves swirling in the air, outside my studio. It’s a windy day in Wisconsin and that means a leaf storm! With leaves on my mind, I created this triple layer window card today to celebrate autumn. This card would be a nice thank you, thinking of you, or Happy Thanksgiving card for someone you know. I’m using the following

Layer 1 window is a large maple leaf die cut. If offers a peek to these cute squirrels sharing an acorn together. I used a splash of watercolor splatters in black and metallic gold to make the front have a little fall, golden sparkle, too!
Layer 2 includes another peek through window to the third layer. In fact, there are 17 little leafy windows that show come color from the underneath layer. I love that!
The itty bitty leaves not only make the cute leafy cutout wreath around the squirrels, but also a bed of leaves for them to sit on and enjoy this glorious fall day together.
What I love most about this card is that each tri-fold layer opens to a new view of autumn. I also love that when the card is fully opened, the panels show leaves from one-to-many, and big-to-small. There is beauty in each layer. Honey Bee Stamps did a beautiful job creating a release full of gorgeous Autumn Afternoon beauty! You can shop the entire release here!
