No matter how you say tomato, they are yummy! I’ve go two cards I’m sharing featuring the cute tomato image from the Herb Labels stamp set and coordinating dies (bundle here) by Simon Says Stamp. I am also using the new Leaf Edges Background stamp set.

My cards below measure 5″ X 7″ and fit inside an A7 envelope. I’m using 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card fronts and card bases. Everything is stamped using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink. I use Simon Says Stamp Dot Runner Tape Adhesive to attach the elements together. Here’s the details.

Tomato with Burlap Card

For my first card, I used the new Leaf Edges Background stamp set to create the card front background. I colored in the leaves using YG67, YG17 and YG03 Copic Markers.   The leaves come up from the bottom edge and down from the top edge. Specks of black were added using a fine-tip black marker. I inked the edges with a light tan to “dirty” up the front a bit. The burlap die cut was also inked around the edges with a brown ink. The Burlap A2 Cover Plate is by Honey Bee Stamps and can be purchased at Simon Says Stamp here.

I stamped the tomato image, outer label design, and the kraft tag using stamps from the Herb Label stamp set. The tomatoes were colored with R89, R46, R29, R17, R14, YG03 and YG00. I added Glossy Accents to the tops of the tomatoes to make them shiny and dimensional. I used Pearl Pen in Bronze for the corner nail heads and attached it with some gingham ribbon under the label.  The tag was attached using May Arts NATURAL Twine String Burlap.
