Ready, Set, Snowfight!

Snowballs ready… time for a good ole fashion snowball fight with these characters! Avery Elle’s Polar Peek-a-boo Pals and coordinating dies are ready to throw the first snowball. To create this card,  I inked blended the background using Ranger Distressed Oxide Inks in Citron, lemon Squeeze and Cracked Pistachio. I dripped water on the ink and blotted it with a paper towel to get the splotches. I also used a Signo Uni-ball pen to create additional falling snow flakes for more dimension.  I hand drew the ice brick wall and the snowballs to create the scene. The characters and the hand-drawn items are colored using Copic Sketch markers. This card uses a very non-traditional color scheme for the holidays, but I think it does justice to the sentiment, “merry and bright!” The sentiment is from the Avery Elle set, Corner Sentiments.
