Splendid Leaves Embossing Folder
Crowded Critters is from a previous release and was used for the heart balloon.
Be Kind for the leaves behind the heart in card 2 below.
For my first card, I couldn’t choose one saying from the Love Greetings Mix stamp set so I chose many! I put the sayings on separate stitched squares and rectangles to make this card. This is easy to do and produces a very graphical look.
I added the balloon from the Crowded Critters stamp set. Enamel dots were added for fun and shine. I think this card is perfect to give a man or a woman. No flowers here, just heartful messages to share with your loved one!
The Love Greetings Mix stamp set includes the big heart with words. It’s a focal point all on its own! I layered it over the Splendid Leaves Embossing Folder design and added leaves from the set, Be Kind. I love this set! I used 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for the card base and embossed panel and pink cardstock for the heart.
I added some white dots using my Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen. Faux black stitching was added around the embossed center panel. Baker’s twine in red/white and fun sequins with pink Pearl Pen dots finish off this 5″ square card.
