Cool days are ahead and it’s time for sweaters. Oh yes, it’s sweater weather! The best way to share my love for sweaters is with this fabulous new background set by Ink Blot Shop called Cable Knit Background. I paired the background with the bear and sign from Cool Days, a retired stamp set by My Favorite Things (MFT). The trees are from one of the new MFT sets called, Ready, Set, Snow. The cute phrase is by Waffle Flower Crafts from the set, Sweater Weather.
To create the cable knit background, I used Memento dye ink in Love Letter (a bright red) on pink cardstock. I also used Copics in R46, R29 and R17 for some additional shading to make the knitted design appear to have more dimension. I’ll be sharing another card later this week using this same background stamp. Do you think I like it just a little bit?! Yep!
