There’s loads of blooms and sweetness in the new set, Loads of Blooms by Newton’s Nook Designs. I’m sharing my inspiration card for the Inky Paws Challenge #92, a sketch challenge, using this lovely set. I also used

I started by stenciling the clouds on the background. The images were colored using Copics and cut out. I used the Baker’s Twine (that Newton uses to package its orders) for the balloon strings. I stenciled a few more clouds from the stencil and cut them out to allow the clouds to “flow” over the top, white layer. The gravel at the bottom was hand-drawn/colored using W-5, 3 and 6 and various C colors.

Now for the challenge… A new Inky Paws challenge begins today 2/25 and goes for two weeks, until Friday, 3/8. All you need to do is follow the sketch and create a card using Newton’s Nook products. One entry is randomly chosen to win a $20 store credit to Newton’s Nook Designs. We hope you’ll join us this challenge!
