Hey there! We’ve got inspiration going on all week on the Honey Bee Stamps blog. We’re sharing all the new sets from the Autumn Blessings release now available in the Honey Bee store so got check it out! Today I’m using the stamp set, Pumpkin Patch for this masked patch of orange! I also had to add in my favorite fox from the stamp set, Warm Wishes. Oh, and the phrase is from another new set called, FaBOOlous Sentiments!
This card is not hard, but it does require a lot of masking and coloring. It’s a good one to do at night, when you’re relaxing and just want to work on your coloring skills. I used Copic YRs for the orange pumpkins and Copic YGs for the stems. The fox is a combo of V04 (my fave violet color) and V17.
I created masks out of post-it notes for all the shaped pumpkins as well as the fox to make this card. I also stamped and popped up the saying on some white cardstock and added some bronze dots to the words to make them look like they were nailed on the sides. I edged the phrase pieces with some black chalk ink to age them a little, too.
