It’s Day three of the Previews for The Greeting Farm July release. Today’s featured new set is So This Is Love. This set is filled with little scene settings that share love between two people from dating to the aging years. Each one is uniquely sweet, innocent and heartwarming. This set will be available on Wednesday, July 15… just a few days away!
My card today uses three of the scene settings from an innocent sweet hug, a bedroom scene and a spaghetti dinner for two. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the images and adhered each one to a larger background stitched heart die cut (available at HBS or SSS).
I used the same three cardstock colors used for the hearts to create bands of background color for this slimline card (3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall). I stamped hearts – in different sizes – using inks in matching colors (with white ink on the red) on each band. I added white stitching on the wide stripes and the hearts for detailing. Finally, I added the phrase from the set to finish the card.
