Hello! It’s Friday which means another fun and colorful project featuring Paperie Ink products! Today, I’m switching gears from fall to Christmas and sharing two brand new holiday sets. In my featured card, I’m using Like Christmas and Santa Baby.
My card is a slimline card measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall. I created this interior living room scene for these adorable characters. I used the fireplace, stocking, mice, and presents from Santa Baby. The animals including the cute birds, tree, ornaments and bows are from Like Christmas. I hand drew the batten board for the walls and the wood floor.
I also hand drew the wood picture frame above the fireplace. The phrase is from the Like Christmas set. The pine garland on the wall was also hand drawn between the stamped and colored red bows and the aqua/teal area rug in front of the fireplace. For the rug, I punched an oval shape with a small oval punch and then added the shag carpet texture using Copics in various shades of aqua and teal.
These characters are so busy decorating the tree with ornaments and putting gifts under the tree. Even this cute little mouse and the sweet Santa birds are involved in the process.
