Hi there! I’m having some fun today with these cute gnomes from Sweet N Sassy Stamps, Winter Gnomes stamp set. I made these two tags for my holiday gifts. I always need lots of gift tags for gift giving in December. Gnomes are all the rage and lots of fun to color, too! Here’s two coordinating tags ready for my gift packages. 🙂
To make these tags, I used the largest tag die from the Hero Arts Nesting Tags die set. I blended Lucky Clover Distressed Oxide ink on the tags, covering the entire front and adding Black Soot Distressed Oxide Ink around the edges.
Next, I splattered white “snowflakes” on the tags using Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleedproof White. Faux stitching using Uni-bell Signo White Gel Pen was added to the edges.
The Winter Gnome images were stamped, colored and cut out and attached to the base tags using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares.
Ribbons were used for the string portion. I added a pink gingham and a red/white stripe ribbon to finish these tags.
Here’s a list of the Copic Marker colors used for these tags:
- Pinks: RV09, RV04, RV02
- Greens: G05, YG67, YG03
- Browns: E35, E43, E57
- Cool Grays: C5, C3, C1
- Blues and Blue Violets: Bv000, BV00, B000
