It’s the day two of sneak peeks for Honey Bee Stamp’s holiday 2021 release called, “Vintage Holiday.” This release will go live on Thursday, October 14. Today, I’m sharing the following new products from the release: (Links will work the evening of October 14, when the release goes live.)

Merry Mail stamp set and coordinating die set

Inside: Holiday Sentiments stamp set and coordinating die set  ( I used the stamp set, only for this card)

Crystal Kaleidoscope Background Stencil

Gem Stickers Vintage Holiday

This card measures 5″ X 7″ and fits inside an A7 envelope.

Merry Mail Card

To make this card, I used by Blending Brushes,  Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and the Crystal Kaleidoscope Background Stencil to make the pattern background on a 5″ X 7″ front panel.  My card base and card front panel are made from 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock.

All of the images from the Merry Mail stamp set were stamped using Bee Creative Intense Black Ink and colored using Copic Markers. I used the following colors:

  • Mailbox – E59, E57, E55, E43, W7, W6, W4, W3, W1
  • Gifts / Presents – BG72, BG23, BG11, BG10, R89, R29, R17, R14
  • Letters/ Other – E42, E40, W2, W1
  • Cardinal and Berries – R89, R29, R14, 100, C7, C5
  • Pine Needles – YG67, YG63

All the elements were die cut using the coordinating die set and attached together using Bee Creative Precision Tip glue. I cut a small slit up the mailbox to add the insert combo image to the box. It’s just a nice, clean finish that way. Using a phrase from the Inside: Holiday Sentiments stamp set, I stamped “Season’s Greetings” on the front panel. I added Gem Stickers Vintage Holiday in iridescent to the background for some sparkle.

I stamped two sentiments inside the card base from the same Inside: Holiday Sentiments stamp set.  I also stamped the pine needles and berries in the inside. I do not color images inside because the color would bleed through to the back of the card. The front panel was attached to the card base to complete this card.
