Hello! Today, Miss Pumpkin Spice Anya from The Greeting Farm is in the frosty weather of winter with hearts strung between the trees. Isn’t she the cutest?! I made this one for my senior daughter to give to one of her friends. They both love coffees, lattes and cocoas. The girl image is a digi file and the trees were hand drawn. For the digi, all you need to do is download, print out and color! You can even do it today. 🙂 I printed Anya on 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her using Copic markers. I’ve listed the colors below.
My card is 5″ X 7″ and the front card panel is made from Canson XL Bristol Smooth watercolor paper. I colored the background using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) sing gray/blue colors. I kept the middle white. I hand drew trees in black on both sides of the panel. Anya was fussy cut out and adhered to the center of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares.
Once Anya was in place, I splattered white paint all over the front using Dr. Ph Marten’s Bleed Proof white paint. I also glued on iridescent confetti to the front. Do you see the sparkles?! They look pinkish at the bottom and blue/green at the top . I hand drew black strings between thr trees and attached Honey Bee Stamps pink acrylic hearts to the strings for a little fun. The pink matches her mug filled with hot cocoa topped with whip cream and sprinkles.
You can see the iridescent confetti looks green from this angle on the picture above. To finish the card, I attached the card front to a 5″ X 7″card base. I used Scor-Tape double-sided .25″ tape to attach the front to the base. I find some adhesives don’t work as well with heavier watercolor paper. The Scor-Tape holds it permanently. Here’s the list of colors I used for Miss Anya.
