Hi there! I’m having so much fun lately with all the new Love Letters Release food stamp sets by Honey Bee Stamps. The one I’m sharing today really catches my eye because of the beautiful pattern paper. The paper does most of the work, but I also love this fortune cookie, too! It’s fun to color. If you don’t like to color, you can cut the layers in two different shades to get a great look, too. The die set has layers to make it easy for anyone to get the “perfectly baked” cookie! Here’s the products I’m using from Honey Bee Stamps:

Love Letters 6″ X 6″ Paper Pad
Soy Mates stamp and die sets
This slimline card measuring 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall is very straightforward. The checked pattern paper really makes this card pop in my opinion.
What’s nice about Honey Bee stamps and dies is that the verses have Honey Cut dies to match. I heat embossed the phrases using Wow! White Opaque Embossing Powder on black cardstock to make them stand out. For the “to know you” phrase, I stamped in black on white, I added a die cut of black cardstock to set it apart from the busy pattern underneath. I love this look and and a nice way to add some “weight” to the bottom phrase.
For the fortune cookies, I added a real cardstock strip inside it that pulls out! It makes this card a little interactive which people love! I like to color so I colored the fortune cookie here using the following Copic Sketch Markers: E50, E53, E55, E30, E43 and Y21. I popped the cookie up off the background using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white dimensional foam tabs.
