Hello crafters! I’m still having fun with more adorable images by Purple Onion Designs. My card today shares the beautiful images of the A Happy Little Place collection by Stacey Yacula. For today’s slimline card measuring 3-1/2″ wide X 8-1/2″ tall, I created a two-story building by removing the roof from the bookstore and adding a room with a view on top! They look so cute together! You can do this with the flower shop in the set, too!
I stamped all of the items – Bookstore, A Room With A View, Junie (the bunny holding flowers), Stone Wall and an extra potted plant to flank the front door. I also stamped two more balcony doors to line the inside of the veranda doors. Everything was colored using Copic Sketch Markers. I fussy cut all of the items and positioned them on the front of this card. I used dimensional foam behind the balcony doors and the entire building to make them stand out. Finally, I stamped a phrase in the lower right corner from the stamp set, Around the Town Sentiment set.
This collection is so cute and everything works so well together. You can purchase the entire A Happy Little Place collection here!

I have been following your blog for a while now. I really enjoy your talent with card making. I have a quick question regarding Purple Onion Designs stamps. Would you please share how you get the nice crisp images that you do? Thanks in advance.
Hi Sandy! I simply stamp them out using my Misti tool. I apply repositionable adhesive to the back side of the stamp and stamp it using the misti. It’s red rubber so the images comes out completely crisp.
