To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped the sunflower garden image about 1/2 way down from the top edge of a 5″ X 7″ front panel made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock. Adding a couple of Post-It notes to cover the bottom half, I splattered watercolor paint on the top, above the flowers using blue and black watercolor paint from my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48).
I colored the sunflowers using an array of rainbow colors:
Flowers: R29, R17, R14, YR09, YR15, YR68, Y19, Y08, BG49, BG11, V06, V04, V12, BG04, BG002, BG00, RV09, RV02.
Leaves/stems: YG67, YG61, YG03, YG00
I stamped one of the verses from the set, below the sunflower image using Bee Creative Intense Black.
After the blossoms were colored, I added drops of Pearl Pen in metallic gold (similar to Nuvo Drops) in the center. In addition, I added lavender and blue sequins above and a few below the phrase. I used Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Tip Glue to adhere them. Lastly, I attached the card front to the A7 card base made from the same cardstock to finish this card.
